Chris Kilmer
I am a Sacramento based photographer who invested in the region's farms, fields and infrastructure while participating in the Sacramento Photographic Project during the late seventies.
After moving to Kansas City in 1980, it was a natural progression to continue working in this genre, after all, the Midwest is synonymous with the phrase 'Bread Basket.'
Since returning to Sacramento in 2013, California's culture and landscapes continue to captivate me; and photographing our farms, fields and infrastructures remains the focus of my attention.
Other projects include a series of "Working Men" portraits, and my "Sacramento Nocturne" collection of downtown street scenes from the late seventies.
My greatest project, however, are my daughters Robin, Ellen and Beanie. Thanks kids!
